About Kathy:

Kathy Schneider, Senior Vice President of Operations, oversees customer service for all DISH and Sling TV subscribers nationwide. This includes the management of DISH’s call center and business process improvement operations.

Previously, Kathy acted as DISH’s Vice President of Finance, responsible for financial planning, financial analysis, safety and treasury.

Before her time at DISH, Kathy held a distinguished career in the airline industry, notably serving as Champion Air’s Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2005 to 2007. For nearly a decade prior, she held several senior-level positions in Finance, Sales Analysis and Airline Profitability at America West Airlines. She began her career at Northwest Airlines in Finance and Revenue Management.

About Meg:

Meg Whitman is Chief Executive Officer of Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

From 2011 through 2015, Meg served as President and Chief Executive Officer for Hewlett-Packard Company, leading the company’s turnaround and subsequent separation into two Fortune 100 companies – Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP Inc.

Prior to joining HP, Meg was the Republican Party’s nominee for the 2010 gubernatorial race in California.

From 1998 to 2008, Meg served as President and Chief Executive Officer of eBay Inc. where she oversaw its growth from 30 employees and $4 million in annual revenue to more than 15,000 employees and $8 billion in annual revenue.

She has also held executive-level positions at Procter and Gamble Company, Hasbro Inc., FTD, Inc., The Stride Rite Corporation, The Walt Disney Company and Bain & Company.

About Christine:

Dr. Christine Darden is an American mathematician, data analyst, and aeronautical engineer who devoted much of her 40-year career in aerodynamics at NASA to researching supersonic flight and sonic booms. Darden is one of the researchers featured in Hidden Figures: The American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Women Mathematicians Who Helped Win the Space Race (2016), a history of some of the influential African-American women mathematicians and engineers at NASA in the mid-20th century, by Margo Lee Shetterly. She had an M.S. in mathematics and had been teaching at Virginia State University before starting to work at Langley in 1967. Partnering with the CFO Training Committee, this intermediate Excel training will focus on PivotTables, which allows users to extract useful information from a large, detailed data set. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn to create, format, and manipulate Pivot Tables with useful, real-life examples.

Partnering with the CFO Training Committee, this intermediate Excel training will focus on PivotTables, which allows users to extract useful information from a large, detailed data set. Leader Series with EVP Sandy Ashendorf

The DISH Women’s Network Leader Series continues with Sandy Ashendorf is Executive Vice President for Content Distribution at EPIX. Reporting directly to President and CEO Mark Greenberg and based in New York, Ms. Ashendorf leads the network’s distribution partnerships across all platforms. Prior to EPIX, she was most recently EVP, Distribution at BBC Worldwide America where she managed all domestic affiliate sales and marketing initiatives for the company’s U.S. assets, resulting in substantial subscriber gains for BBC America and BBC World News.

Previously, she spent over seventeen years at Viacom, ultimately becoming EVP Affiliate Sales and Marketing for MTV Networks. During her tenure, Sandy managed the sales groups responsible for distribution across satellite, telco and wireless and was responsible for legal and strategic issues affecting distribution. She has also acted as a consultant to several media companies and began her career as a Corporate Associate with the law firm of Rubin Baum Levin Constant & Friedman.

Sandy is a graduate of New York University and Cardozo Law School. She sits on the Board of Directors of the T. Howard Foundation and Women’s Project Theater.

Leader Series: VP Janet Gipson

Join us for our continuation of the DISH Women’s Network Leader Series! We are thrilled to host DISH Exec Janet Gipson. Janet is VP of DISH Technologies Sales and Marketing. In this capacity, Ms. Gipson is responsible for consumer grand marketing as well as sales relating to various direct-to-consumer and B2B products. Ms. Gipson has been with DISH since 2000, first working with the DISH Network Business Solutions before moving into business development, where she held titles of Senior Program Manager and Director, a role that she presided over for eight years. In 2013, Ms. Gipson began heading the Sales and Marketing team, starting with the title of Senior Director before being promoted to Vice President shortly thereafter. Prior to joining DISH, Ms. Gipson worked in engineering roles for the United States Army and Newport News Shipbuilding in Virginia. Ms. Gipson holds and MBA from the College of William and Mary and Bachelor of Science degrees for mechanical engineering and mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Spelman College, respectively.

About Lt. Gov. Donna Lynne:

The Lieutenant Governor serves as the state’s second highest-ranking elected or appointed official in the executive branch. In her dual role as the Lieutenant Governor and Chief Operating Officer, Donna Lynne engages in all aspects of state leadership, including the development and execution of policy, legislation, operations, and the budget. Lieutenant Governor Lynne acts as the chair for multiple commissions and programs, such as the Colorado Commission of Indian Affairs, Colorado Space Coalition, the Early Childhood Leadership Commission and the Governor’s Commission on Community Service. The Lt. Governor’s Office also oversees the Colorado State Innovation Model and the Office of eHealth Innovation.
