Have you ever considered being a volunteer mentor for a high school student? On July 24th from 12-1pm DISH is hosting a lunch & learn information session about the mentor2.0 program through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado. Volunteering as a mentor can not only change the life of a high school student, but also your own! DISH has current staff who have been involved with mentor2.0, and we encourage you to attend this event to learn about mentoring opportunities!
The mentor2.0 program is a new, technology-enhanced way to mentor high school students through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado. Mentors are paired with sophomore students at Englewood High, Sheridan High, and the Girls Athletic Leadership School with the goal of providing support and guidance through high school and beyond. Pairs communicate digitally once per week based on college-prep topics, and meet in-person once per month for group activities and a meal. Consider joining mentor2.0 and positively influencing the life of a student in your community!
