DISH Women’s Network Year in Review

Network Launch: Summer 2015

Founder’s Note:

As we reflect on the past year we are filled with gratitude and admiration for the support the Network has received. What started as a focus group of women talking about their careers is now a flourishing network of women building each other up. We never dreamed that within one year of launch we would have 605 members while expanding beyond Meridian to our other locations across the country. This network is a testament to the power women have when they work together. We would like to take this time to thank the many people who have helped us get here today – from executive support to countless volunteer hours executing events, we are indebted to the people who joined this movement with us. We have been honored to have such fantastic women speak in our Leader Series, to see the community impact that is possible through volunteering, and the networks that can form through our events. We are also reminded that there is so much more to be done within DISH and the industry as a whole. While we have achieved so much this year, we look to the future as an opportunity to continue bringing opportunities for networking, education and career-development to the women at DISH. We are encouraged by the spirit of empowerment we see in each event and are hopeful for continued growth in the future. Please join us in celebrating this first year and we encourage you to get involved with the Network in the coming months. Together we can achieve amazing things.
