This workshop is about putting everything together from the Breaking the Bias training series, sponsored by the DISH ERGs.
About this Event:
Putting it all together, we use the E.M.P.A.T.H.Y. model of communication to put our Curiosity and Empathy skills to the test. Non-verbal and verbal cues and communication skills are vital to creating an authentic, vulnerable, and safe connection with anyone. You’ll learn the importance of eye contact and tone of voice, for example, to communicate with intention, Curiosity, and Empathy, even with your biases still present.
These ‘Breaking the Bias’ trainings will be facilitated by UB Ciminieri from Breaking the Bias. Although the sessions do build on each other, you do not have to participate in every session if you’re not able.
